Metabolic Dynamics and Organ Crosstalk

The strategic objective of this program is to integrate knowledge generated from single cell and organ systems to understand the influence of lifestyle on metabolic health. This program is focused on understanding the mechanisms by which organ systems regulate metabolic health under various lifestyles and environmental factors and throughout the lifespan.

An integrative approach combining multiple omics data in the context of functional physiology and organ cross-talk is used to resolve the role of novel and previously identified molecules and intracellular pathways controlling whole body energy metabolism.
