Center scientists break the genetic code for diabetes in Greenland

Scientists from the Center has made a great breakthrough for research on the influence of genes related to diabetes.
Center scientists have discovered a gene variant which markedly increases the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. The discovery has just been published in the prestigious Journal Nature.
Professor Torben Hansen has been one of the driving forces behind the findings and several researchers from the Center's Sections is collaborating on the project.
