Four Center researchers become part of two major research programmes
Torben Hansen, Matthew Gillum and Signe Torekov will be working on three different aims of the “Discovery and validation of novel targets for therapy, characterisations and response to treatment in immune-metabolic diseases”
Thue Walther Schwartz will become part of the project “Metabolites as drivers of inflammation in metabolic diseases”. In total, the center researchers was awarded DKK 16,8 million for their research.
The funded programmes both combine the fields of immunology and metabolic research and bring together investigators from three institutions; University of Copenhagen, Denmark, University of Oxford, Great Britain, and the Karolinska Institute, Sweden.
