Take a look inside CBMR's first (un)Conference this past November.
On November 29, the Center came together for its first (un)Conference, a teambuilding day with sessions that were crowdsourced entirely from the staff themselves. The 20 sessions included a keynote talk by Dennis Nørmark on pseudo work and Abdi Hedayat on whale taxidermy, workshops on 3D printing in science and creating scientific board games, debates about the concept of 'diabesity' and on whether science is about testing hypotheses or bottom-up exploration, to name a few.
